I am so excited to announce the arrival of Satchmo to Ecclestone Valley. We imported him from the renown Clovercrest Miniature Stud in NZ owned by Marion and Peter vanDijk He has a star studded pedigree tracing back to the original Mediterranean donkeys imported into America on both his parents’ sides. He is a stocky drafty build and is a brilliant dark red – reds and blacks dominate his pedigree. At just under 3 years of age Satchmo stands at 31 1/4 and displays the class and charisma of his father Cyder’s Spartacus who is son of the rather famous Lazy Nissen Foxworthy(USA). My sincere gratitude to Marion and Peter for offering me this magnificent boy.

Ambassador was imported from NZ to Ecclestone Valley In March 2008. He has a beautiful laid back and friendly nature and is a lovely classic grey dun with nice red colouring in his head. He is full brother to Chateau’s Texas Premiere- multi champion in New Zealand. His lines are invaluable to the Miniature Mediterranean gene pool being the only son of Country Music’s Marty Brown (Imp USA) in Australia. Jasper is a stunning little light sorrel jack. He stands at just under 30” at 2 years. Jasper gave us 4 stunning little foals in 2010. His sale was regrettable but necessary with our 2 new jacks imported from New Zealand.
